BIO
Ondrea Keigh grew up in the forested northwest of the United States. At a young age, she loved animals, the outdoors, books, and art! Crafts were always her favorite part of school, and she always had an art class to accompany the many science classes she loved in high school. After graduating high school with a transfer degree, Ondrea attended Liberty University, where she received her undergraduate degree in psychology. Starting in high school, Ondrea worked as a dog trainer for ten years, starting her own company the same year she started college. But during COVID, she discovered her love of writing books and decided it was time for a career change!
The first story Ondrea wrote and published was the Night Rider Adventures episode 1 – The Night Rider, a fantasy short story about a woman on a mission to save her world. After speaking with a fellow author about what it would take to write and publish her own books, Ondrea went on to write The Story, her first fantasy novel and the first installment of the Arlin Trilogy. Since then, she has published the second book in the trilogy and will soon be publishing the third. She has also been working on more episodes of the Night Rider Adventures, along with a few other short stories in other genres. Many of her stories can be found on Kindle, and all are available on Amazon or this website.
In her spare time, Ondrea loves to ride bikes and kayak through the jungle like Florida environment, meeting lots of wildlife and exploring the beaches. She also loves to read and regularly reviews books in her Let’s Talk Books! newsletter that is sent out each month. Her favorite workplace place is in her tiny home near a Florida golf course. Ondrea's dedication to writing is unwavering, as she spends most of her time honing her craft. Yet, her passion for animal training remains, and she still works with animals from time to time.
"Through the pages of books, we can find adventure! But not just adventure. We can also find lessons. Lessons that, if found and learned by the right person, at the right moment, might very well change someone's life!"
